Ebola Contaminated Blood Stolen From The Red Cross

Sure there are no current Ebola cases in the United States but how long will that last?  Ebola is still a very real problem in many countries.  Should the US be more involved in resolving this issue?

“Robbers in Guinea have stolen blood samples believed to be infected with Ebola, the Red Cross in the West African nation has said.

The samples, stored in tightly wrapped vials tucked into a cooler bag, were in the care of a Red Cross courier who was among nine passengers sharing a taxi when three men on a motorbike robbed the vehicle and took the samples, said Saa Mamady Leno of the Red Cross in Gueckedou.”*  Ben Mankiewicz, Jimmy Dore, Dave Rubin & Ana Kasparian discuss on The Young Turks.

Nurses group blasts government over Gitmo force-feeding

The American Nurses Association is backing a Guantanamo Bay nurse who sparked an international debate by refusing to force feed detainees at the controversial facility. In a statement of support, the organization outlines why it believes the nurse is justified in his or her actions and should not face military punishment. Ebola Crisis Affecting US Adoptions

The Sanborn family had hoped they’d be able to bring home their 5-year-old adopted son from Liberia by now. But Ebola has forced them to wait. The boy is just one of thousands of orphans in West Africa who’ve been impacted by the deadly virus. (Nov. 20)
