Natina Reed (born October 28, 1979 – October 27, 2012) was an American actress, rapper, singer, teen idol and songwriter in the R&B trio Blaque. On most of Blaque’s songs, Reed is featured as a rapper, except on “Mind of a King” where she sings the song entirely on her own. She is also known as Blaque‘s rapper and a similarity to Left Eye.

Reed contributed her own raps to many of Blaque’s past singles, including “808″, “Can’t Get it Back” and “Bring It All to Me” (remix).

In 2001, Reed was engaged to rapper Kurupt. In 2002, she gave birth to their son Tren Brown after the group was dropped from their label. Reed and Kurupt are now separated.

At the time of her death, Reed was working on a solo rap album, as well as a new movie she will be filming this summer.

Reed was the cousin of former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin.

In the early morning of October 27, 2012 Reed was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Atlanta, GA

The group’s debut album sold more than 1.5 million copies and was certified Platinum. The group’s debut included the gold selling single “808″, the international hit “Bring It All To Me”, and a third single, “I Do”. The group went on hiatus from 2002 until 2007, releasing only three unsuccessful singles, “Can’t Get It Back”, “Ugly”, and the International single from the film Honey, “I’m Good”. The group has three members: Shamari Fears-Devoe, Natina Reed, and Brandi Williams.

In 1999, Billboard named Blaque the 4th Best New Artist of 1999, with Bring It All To Me landing at #30 on the 2000 Year End Chart.[1]

Tracy Chapman (Talking About A Revolution)

Posted by bgtvmediaonline on 2012/09/05

Uploaded by MrsMusic04 on Mar 11, 2011

Don’t you know you’re talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
Don’t you know they’re talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper

While they’re standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion

Don’t you know you’re talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper

Poor people are gonna rise up
And get their share
Poor people are gonna rise up
And take what’s theirs

Don’t you know you better run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run
Oh I said you better run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run

Cause Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution
Yes, Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution oh no
Talking about a revolution oh no

While they’re standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion

Don’t you know you’re talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper

And finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution
Yes, Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution oh no
Talking about a revolution oh no
Talking about a revolution oh no
